Hey All,
Long time lurker, first time poster. Can usually solve problems with info from the forums but not this time.

Brand new build that I'm having trouble getting bios to see usb disc / thumb drive to install os. I've been at it for 5 days now (my return window is shrinking) and have gotten absolutely nowhere. Initially before doing anything I updated bios to most current version. Upon reading reviews, it seems that bios version has usb driver issues some users reported. I rolled back the drivers to the original that shipped with the board (1.28). They seem to be the "best" and most stable per peer reviews. Even after this, I'm still unable to see any usb drives. Completely stumped at this point. I'm sure the fix is right in front of me, I'm just not seeing it. Any help would be appreciated.

ASrock B650E PG Riptide WiFi
7800x3d
2tb Samsung 990 pro
Oloy 2x32gb 48000 cl30
240 Corsair aio
Evga 650 G2 (just for set up)
Win 10
Bios 1.28 using Instant Flash

Btw, i'm trying to do this with onboard integrated graphics.

Its strange that its not recognizing the USB. When i did my build i had to change to a different USB as it was not recognized the SSD in the drive selection page. The new/alternate USB drive bootable media fixed it for me.

Is the USB recognized in the BIOS? i could see my USB and SSD in the bios when connected.

the other option i can think of if you miss your return window is, putting the SSD in your laptop and installing windows in it. Dont activate it and boot it in your PC after windows installation. activate and install drivers like normal.

I am able to see, my SSD and my Wifi Ethernet controller as a boot device. I didn't even think of installing OS on another system, thanks for the heads up. That will be a last resort. Ive contacted ASrock hopefully that get me somewhere. Ill keep this updated with the final resolution.
