Between the two, who makes the better motherboard: AsRock to Gigabyte? All I plan on doing is normal day to day operations and some gaming. I might overclock a bit but it would be with a stock cooler so nothing extreme. These are the two motherboards in particular I'm looking at-

ASRock 890FX Deluxe4

GIGABYTE GA-890FXA-UD5

What I really want is a stable, well quality built motherboard.

Suggestions? Comments?

Thats kinda the vibe I'm getting. Do you know how they are better? More stable? Better components? Better board layout design? Tom's seems is favorable to both so I think its a win / win situation.

The top three manufacturers are Asus, Gigabyte and MSI in that order. All of those three are known for their options to overclock and that is what separates them the most from budget manufacturers. Asrock is Asus's budget brand they have often been used as a test platform, this article as an example http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/front-panel-usb-3-connector,2755.html but their quality is not far behind the others. I have bought ECS boards in the past for the same reason that Asrock is a viable option, that there is money to be saved
