Review ASRock Taichi TC-1300T power supply review

This PSU comes with "two PCIe 5.1 12V-2x6 connectors with built-in temperature sensors that can shut down the PSU if overheating occurs."
I built 14 months ago with the Corsair Shift 1200 PSU which at the time was advertised as ATX 3.0, but now suddenly is advertised as ATX 3.1 (not sure if that was a rebadging or if the line was actually updated in some way.)
Too this very day, I still can't determine the exact specs of the 12VHPWR cable and whether or not they call it the new 12V (2x6) version, or even if it matters.
Maybe I should just get this expensive PSU and slap it in and stop worrying about it.
The constant stories about melting connectors have not stopped even with the 50 series new GPUs. It is like a never-ending nightmare. (I exaggerate for comic effect, but it is annoying.)
