Question ASRock X570 Phantom - M.2 not in bios

I can see the Samsung Evo M.2 drive and can boot from it if I press F11 and select it. I want to set it as the boot drive in the bios so I don't need to select it each time but it doesn't show up as a boot option.

If you dont change anything does it normally boot from it?
On my X570 Aorus Elite the m.2 drive (a 970 evo) doesn't show up in selecting boot drives but it still boots from it by default.

I still have my old C drive installed that I cloned the new one from and it boots from that.

I think I was able to force boot from my M.2 SSD but I'm not sure.

The old one was a regular SATA SSD.

I decided to reinstall windows on the new M.2 and that works fine.
