Hi Guys,

I´m not able to get my new PC build run.

ASROCK X570 Steel Legend
AMD Ryzen 3900X
G.Skill 32GB Trident Z Neo DDR4-3600MHz
Corsair MP600 PCIe 4.0 NVME SSD

AMD 5700 XT (was already runningin my old machine)

When I start the computer I get no screen / post. on the PSC (Post status checker) only the Boot LED is lightning. At startup CPU und DRAM are lightning for some seconds than it goes back to BOOT LED only.

What does the Boot LED mean? I´ve tried it with and without the PCIE NVME.

There is no further information about the PSC in the manual.

I also tried a differernt RAM and 3 different GPUs in summary.

Hope anyone can help me.

Thanks

Boot should mean storage not working right or disconnected

Try booting with a windows install USB drive.

reset the BIOS by jumper (shorten the clrCMOS pins while power is unplugged from the wall)

Which power supply are you using? brand and model please

The RAM is installed into slots A2 and B2?

Did you connect the monitor to the GPU and not the motherboard´s video ports?

In which M.2 slot did you try the nvme storage?

Hi helpstar,

thanks for your reply.

Boot should mean storage not working right or disconnected

it doesn't matter if there's an ssd plugged in or not

Try booting with a windows install USB drive.
not working....nothing happen

reset the BIOS by jumper (shorten the clrCMOS pins while power is unplugged from the wall)
I did it by removing the battery

Which power supply are you using? brand and model please
Enermax Revolution X´T / ERX530AWT
BeQuiet PowerZone 1000W

yes

Did you connect the monitor to the GPU and not the motherboard´s video ports?
I´m sure that the monitor is connected to the GPU

In which M.2 slot did you try the nvme storage?

Slot 1 - directly under the GPU

Did you try a different hard drive? connected by SATA

Did you try a different M.2 slot?

check the pins of the removed CPU

also your memory is not on the compatibility list of the motherboard, might be incompatible to your system. Which other RAM did you try? If this would work, eventually a BIOS update will get you more compatibility.

EDIT
Try a different video port of the GPU. How is it connected to the monitor?

Wait about 2 minutes after powering on the PC, maybe it needs more time

and I tried the components on a different motherboard --> Gigabyte X570 Gaming X --> No POST, No Screen,

Hi toto1988.

Did you resolve your problem? Have have run into a similar problem and would like any advise if you were able to solve it.

System:
Asrock x570 steel legend,
ryzen 5 3600,
rog strix 5700xt,
tridentZ neo F4-3600C16D-16TZNC
970 evoplus as bootdrive

The system was running fine (built in the end of last year) until it blue screened on me twice back to back and now it is stuck on the red boot LED.
Any advise would be much appreciated
