Asrock z170 extreme4 vs MSI z170a krait gaming

Which one would be better for my i5 6600k? Which one has better functions and options? What are the pro ans con's among them?

Asus is a better, more realiable brand overall. I also like the fan control system they have in their BIOS. With a fan curve and everything. Cool stuff.

Asus is a better, more realiable brand overall. I also like the fan control system they have in their BIOS. With a fan curve and everything. Cool stuff.

But what about the built in LED number indicator thing on the ASRock? Asus does not have it. Actually I dont know what it is 😛 . I guessed it shows temperature. Its looked cool btw. So does it matter and what does it do?

It shows codes for different stages of the boot process, so if you're having trouble booting you can check in the manual to see where it's stuck.
