Asus 990FX R2 warning LEDs?

Hi

I've just installed an ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2 mobo as part of a budget gaming rig. Its been a while since I've built a comp, so this could just be normal, but I thought I'd ask the experts -

The system is almost complete but minus a GPU. I decided to boot it up just to check the fans worked and if there are any issues. When booting, the cpu led flashes red very very briefly then goes off and stays off. Is that considered normal function, or should the warning lights not flash at all upon powering on?

Yes that's normal , and wait till you get all of your components before trying to boot again.
