I am having a little trouble understanding the way in which my motherboard reads my memory. I would ask anyone for a little help thanks.
My combo is an Asus A8N-E motherboard and 4 Corsair CMX-512 3200C2 memory modules. They are 2 matching pairs of dual DDR modules.
If i run either pair in the matching colour memory slots on the motherboard, (slots 1 and 3) when the machine boots the BIOS reads them as DDR400.
When i run all 4 modules, with a matching pair in slots 1 and 3, and the other matching pair in slots 2 and 4, the machine boots up with the BIOS reading the memory as DDR 200?
Is this correct or does the BIOS have to be adjusted to suit the memory?
CPU-Z results are:
Frequency: 110Mhz
FSB DRAM: CPU/22
Command Rate 2T
CPU is and AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Winchester
Can anyone please help with their experiences thanks
