ASUS and SB live

Hi,

I've got an ASUS CUV4X motherboard, with a VIA Apollo Pro 133Z Cipset and a PIII 800 intel processor, Creative Riva TNT 2 32mb AGP graphics card, 256 MB ram, and the usual rest.

My problem comes in when I try to install my Sound Blaster Live Value sound card. When I boot up the machine, or shut it down, I get the following error:

A fatal exception 0E has occurred at 0028:C16B49D0 in VXD EMU10K1(01) +0000B830.

Any ideas on the probem? Is it possible that the Sound Blaster live value is not compatible with the CUV4X or maybe with the VIA Apollo chipset?

Are you using the latest drivers on their website, not the ones supplied on their CD?

I downloaded the latest drivers for the VIA chipset and the SB live from the web, but still get that blue screen, and still no sound. Any other ideas?
