My new computer has an ASUS B760-PLUS TUF Gaming WIFI (V2) motherboard. I checked the temperatures in HWMonitor and noticed two really high temperatures, and two really low temperatures. TMPIN8 and AUXTIN2 are +117 °C while AUXTIN1 and TMPIN5 are only +9 °C. Is this normal?

Here are the system components:

Case: Cepter E-Sport 280B
Motherboard: ASUS B760-PLUS TUF Gaming WIFI (V2)
Graphics: Gainward GeForce RTX™ 4070 SUPER Ghost (12GB GDDR6X)
Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-14600KF
RAM: Kingston FURY Beast DDR5-6000 32GB (2 x 16GB)
Storage: Kingston NV2 2000GB M.2 2280 NVMe SSD
PSU: MSI MPG A750GF 750W (80+ Gold)
Cooling: Arctic Freezer 36 CPU Cooler
Operating System: Windows 11 Home

I'm assuming you have this prebuilt;
if so, take the front fascia off and see what your temps are like, as in if they drop or improve. You can likewise aim a fan towards the chipset heatsink and see if the temps you've highlighted drop.

Speaking of chipsets, what BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?
