Hello!:)

I was wondering if you could help me, when I turned my computer on it loaded the Asus logo and showed "windows loading files" or something along those lines. Then it asks me to select a keyboard input method which I just choose "United Kingdom" and hit next. Then after this I get confused, I have two options which are "use recovery tools that can help fix problems starting windows. Select an operating system to repair. If you're operating system isn't listed, click loa drivers and then install drivers for your hard disks" nothing is listed in the box below, nor do I know what I'm looking for. The other option is "restore your computer using a system image that you've create earlier" which I've never done so that option is pointless. I'm 15 so have limited knowledge on computers and I need mine to study for my exams.
It also runs on Windows 7 starter. If you could explain what the problem could possibly be or how to finish the startup repair, that would be amazing. Thank you!!:)

It sounds like either you have a corrupted operating system, or you are having some kind of hard drive failure. The first thing I would do that I'm not sure if you haven't already is try start up repair. If I remember correctly those asus Eee are extremely slim and small so they don't have an optical drive. If you have a copy of windows use burnaware to copy an iso off a disk, and then use windows 7 usb dvd download tool to create that image to the usb. After that try to install the os from the usb. It can seem difficult but you can find guides on this everywhere
