Hello,
Has anybody out there built a system based on this motherboard?
How did you get along?
I'm planning to do the same, any advice you can give to get me going?
Thanks in advance for reading and for any suggestion you may have

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

I've built a system with the Zenith Extreme(the first iteration of the Zenith series), the build was straightforward, considering I had all the parts in hand and I was careful not to bend the pins on the socket, also taking note that a larger surface area with pins make for nice target practice if you're going to drop the CPU by accident at an angle. Apart from the CPU socket needinmg caution, the rest of the build is what any other build should be.

Mind if I ask what the specs to your build looks like at this moment of time?

Hello,
Thank you very much for your answer, that's very much appreciated.
I'm looking to build a workstation as I have found that the computers I've used so far, currently I'm using an Intel-based system build by QPC and I've found it gets very slow when running multiple apps which I usually do. These could include graphic programs (Adobe) and occasionally 3D (Autodesk), but also programs such as Excel. I'm now hoping that opting for a workstation might suit me better, although is inevitably going to cost more. But having said that, as it may turn out to be an investment, I also want it to last longer (future proof) hence I'll be looking for parts and manufacturers that will last.
So having done some research so far, I've come up with this Asus Zenith II Extreme Alpha MoBo and it looks like I'll be needing and AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X 3.8GHz 24 Core CPU for it. Anyway, I wanted an AMD Threadripper based system so that's OK. I'm planning to start with 32Gb RAM (2x16Gb) to upgrade to 64 Gb later if required. For Graphics Card, I thin I should be having an RTX 3060, but I'm not sure, I'm still looking into this. Should I be going for water cooling or air cooling? I want to keep the noise down as much as possible. At the moment I'm using a fanless computer which is great, but I hear that there are some good and quiet fans nowadays.
Thank you for your interest and any further suggestions are welcome!
