Hi, after i ai suite 2 and ran fan xpert 2, The fans all of a sudden slowed down(literally like 1000 rpms) and my parts started overheating and crashed, the fan settings won't go back to default, and my parts just start overheating almost right after boot. Im really ticked at asus for making this crap software to make my pc unusable...very mad.

my mobo is asus m5a97 r2.0

It is not dieing, it is shutting off to prevent damage. Ensure all fan speed is disabled in the bios and boot into safe mode to uninstall the AI software. Alternatively you can disable its services and scheduled tasks.

To enter safe mode, use F8 just before the Windows loading screen(hammer the key over and over if you have to). If hit too soon, some boards will give you a boot menu, just select your drive and continue to F8 the crap out of that thing.

I am very surprised the software would do that. In all honesty, 1000 rpm on all but the cpu fan should not hurt anything(hot yes, overheat(at idle), not likely).

If you need images of disabling Asus services or scheduled tasks, just ask.
