Good day

I have an Asus FX502VM, i7 7700hq, gtx 1060 3gb Upon pressing the power button, the power led, battery/charger led, another white lamp led, would come on, hdd led would blink 3x but the hdd is spinning, both vents, cpu gpu are running, but no beep, no display, keyboard backlite also no working.

laptop would charge the battery and can be run from battery, i have open it, removed battery, cmos reset, removed ram 1 slot, (8gb is solderd on mobo) tried with hdd without hdd, no luck. no display on external monitor too.

Any idea's what could be wrong with the laptop, checked with multimeter, all voltages are present, Hope someone can point me in right direction, Is it the cpu, gpu dead or bios dead..

Any help in much appreciated.

Thanks

It seems like connection problems since your keyboard backlight is not working also.

•Check the flex connector between your motherboard and display

Hi Aria.

Thanks for your reply. I have checked the display cable on another working laptop and the screen just works.

Is there any relation between display and keyboard lite..?? Does it not indicating something with mainboard as normally tje laptop should post on external display as here is not the case.

What weird is that the hdd is spinning but the hdd led indicator blinks only 3 times and further nothing.

I have checked phisically. The southbridge chip and coils for gpu are getting too hot. I i put my finger for 7 seconds then it would burn.

Does it says something..??
