I have a friend who owns this laptop, and when i started it up all seemed fine. The laptop was working just fine, but after just a few minutes of use, probably not even that the laptop started to slow down increasingly over about 10-15 minutes until it was unusable.
I swapped the HDD that was in the laptop for a new SSD because of a "SMART" popup on startup which stated the HDD was faulty.
I also tried reseating the M.2, but it doesn't change anything.
I'm going to ask for the laptop so i can hopefuly update the BIOS and check for SSD update aswell.
If that doesn't help, does anybody have any tips? I've searched the web for a few hours without finding anyone who has the same problem.
EDIT:
The computer now shows a notification of a disk error message stating it needs to restart to fix the issue, but that didn't seem to help at all even though the notification is gone. Can this be physical damage?
Going to try and pull the M.2 out and installing a fresh copy of windows on the SSD to check if the M.2 is faulty.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
