Hi All. My laptop's RAM module failed recently so I'm running on the 8 gig onboard module for now. I wanted to know if I can go ahead and get THIS Samsung RAM module for the laptop.

Bonus question: Is it possible for me to get a 16 GB chip instead? I know the website says upto 16 GB but wouldn't an i7-6700HQ support 24gigs with this motherboard? Please advice.
