asus h110i-plus d3 Bios write protected

Hi guys anyone know how to unprotect the bios from write protection on this board asus h110i-plus d3 Asus support are useless with no answers at all im trying in DOS but it wont let me change bios as its write protected.

Did you add a password to access the bios? What exactly are you trying to do?

No password in bios but what i am trying to do is downgrade my bios but i cant in Dos its writevoroted and with trying to flash thru bios it tells me my bios file im trying to use is not a proper bios i dont know what asus has done but on my asrock i could upgrade and downgrade no problem

Yes thats where it tells me its not a proper bios file
even when the bios was downloaded from asus site.

Yes unziped to flash drive. I have been into computers for years but never came across a write protected bios before. I cant see a jumper setting or bios setting to turn off the protection.

I've never encountered that either. Have you tried EZFlash and resetting the CMOS? You may need to contact ASUS support and see if they know what's going on.

Tried all of that even asus dont know what to do but will try them again on monday
