Asus H81M-K running hot

Speccy lists the motherboard temp at 250 F. This seems a bit hot to me so I thought I would check with others that have a bit more knowledge. Asus wasn't much help. The socket is 1150 running an Intel Pentium.

Maybe the speccy is not reading correctly or there is a missing sensor.

same problem i had 2 months back ,speccy still reads my mobo temp as 129 degree C, TRY OTHER APPLICATIONS , DONT WORRY.. FAULTY READING ihave a b85m-k motherboard from asus, its right temp is about 30-36 degree C ,
my system is still running cool

possibly but I have never had an issue with speccy before. I have another asus board that speccy reads correctly. air feels cool coming out of the exhaust and the psu fans.

128 C is a sign of no or broken sensor, With 250F you are awfully close to that.

what is your , gpu and cpu temps ,,,,
250 F is equal to 120 D, it is actually four times the normal working temperature of a mobo,. i came to know my actual temps when is used iobit advanced system care's monitor ..still speccy shows incorrect reading

unfortunately the asus ai suite that is part of the software for that board doesn't include a sensor for the board temp. any recommends for an alternative program?

Not really and I would not be worried at all being so obviously wrong.
