Hello, I have been curious of one thing on my Asus laptop. And its that there are 2 other drives (Data1 and Data2 . I found them while I was looking at how much space I have on my OS and im curious, is it possible to use those drives for extra storage.

Solution

You have 2 physical drives, Disk 0 and Disk 1.
Disk 1 is the OS drive. 128GB
Disk 0 is split into two partitions. 1TB, split in half.
Yes some laptop may have multiple drives. Some may have a small mSATA/M.2 SSD as a cache. It is often too small to install Windows on it. It should be preconfigured to run as a cache so you get faster speed than a HDD but not fast enough as a SSD.
You can use it as extra storage but you lose the advantage of having a SSD cache.

Can you post a screencap of your Disk Management window?

Is this what you mean?

I forgot to add that When I got my laptop, the amazon page said that there was 1 Terra-byte of memory. But did not specify that 90% of it were used for Data1 and data2.
