Asus Maximus 6 Hero Not Posting

My maximus 6 hero is not posting. I tried to see if it was a ram problem, but it wasn't and previously I plugged in the power switch wrong so the hdd led sparks every time I turn on the system and I don't have a hard drive so I don't know if that is an issue. The cpu_led is a constant red whenever I turn it on, so I don't know if that was a posting problem or I just fried the cpu thanks.

I doubt you fried your CPU, but you may have damaged the mobo. How, specifically, did you plug it in wrong?

It's also possible, as far as your CPU LED goes, that your CPU is either installed incorrectly or your mobo isn't recognizing it. What CPU do you have installed?

I have an i5 4690k in it and I plugged in all of the front panel headers in wrong (power switch, reset switch, hdd led)

Are both 24 and 8 pin power cables connected? What components using? It would be useful to answer questions with full details for avoiding redundant questions.
