Im wondering what the diff between the asus m5a99x evo r2.0 and the pro which one is better?

Run through he specs and see what difference there is and if it matters to you. Example: the EVO's 2 x PCIe x16 slots are x8, x8 lanes when both are populated, the Pros's are x16, x16. The EVO uses the 990X chipset, the Pro, the 990FX.

The Pro is a step above the EVO if the benefits are important to you.
