Hello everyone!
I am having a weird issue. I'll list my components, then I'll explain everything.
MOBO : Asus B450 Prime Plus
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600x(no OC, pbo on auto)
Cooler : Bequiet Dark Rock 4 Pro
Gpu : RTX 3080 Eagle OC
Ram : gskill ripjaws 3200mhz cl16
Psu : seasonic focus 850w gold
Since I have mounted the 3080, 2 days ago, I started getting the beeps from the mobo.
I have one short beep, like normal start, then 4 really fast beeps. The closest this gets is, as Asus says, a cpu overheating or cpu fan issue.
All my fans are pwm and connected correctly.
For the record, the gpu has 2 separate Psu cables, not a single one double headed.
During the mount, I have not touched any additional cable or component.
The pc is running with no issues, and performs well under stress.
This beeping happens at every boot.
I can enter bios just fine.
What I have tried :
Windows reinstall
Gpu driver reinstall
Chipset driver reinstall
Bios reset
Bios reset + only DOCP done
Manually testing every fan (they work fine)
Checking the voltage of the cpu (also fine)
Checking the cpu temps (fine both idle and load)
Disabling legacy boot (leaving uefi)
Booting with open case
Booting with close case
Windows troubleshooting
Ram is also fine
And I ran out of ideas.
The definition of the beep code is fairly confusing, and since I never ran into this so far, and none of my "specialized" acquaintances either, i wanted to ask here if any of you had something similar or has any idea what could possibly cause the beeps.
If it's a bug from the mobo, I can live with it, I just wanna make sure there's no problem that I don't understand, and if there is, I wanna know how to fix it.
Thank you in advance to everyone willing to help!
