Asus Nexus 7 - Possible Broken LCD Ribbon

Hi,

I recently bought a new screen for my N7, which when attached, didn't work. However, I didn't think the screen would've been broken on arrival. Anyway, I had a working N7 laying around and decided to mix and match parts to try and diagnose what the issue was.

Now neither nexus' displays are working, but I can still hear sound (notifications) from the N7 that was working prior. Is it possible that I've damaged the LCD Display Data ribbon whilst taking that out? Is it really that easy to damage them?

Yes, you could have damaged the cable, or simply not re-attached it securely/properly. I would double-check the installation/connections of the cable. Good luck.
