Doea anybody knows something about this board ,I want to know if someone around here has one or has actually worked with it? what are your experiences with it? I would also like to know if anybody can explain the differences between the versions of this mobo (P4S333, P4S333-M and P4S333-FX) cause I don't understand a thingy of what it says on Asus Web site, (to say the truth i've had no time to read the page for all three models, so I was hoping some would tell me.. 🙂 )

THX!

i havent physically seen the p4s333 but i've read one <A HREF="http://www.gamepc.com/reviews/hardware_review.asp?review=p4s333&page=1&mscssid=&tp=" target="_new">review</A> about it...
sorry i cant be of anymore help

also, does anyone know how to include the option for onboard LAN? a few people i know are using boards with onboard LAN and they really like it--the 645 chipset says there is an optional onboard LAN feature, as well as the asus p4333 page on the asus website (it says there's optional onboard LAN...yet the p4333 doesn't come with it!) so how the hell do you get it? is it a seperate purchase?

if the board has "optional" onboard lan, and it is not on board then it would appear that the manufacturer opted not to include it on the board and therefore you cannot use it, get a pci lan card.....

I looked at the ASUS site (as I'm also interested in the P4S333) but could not find the P4333-M, only the P4S333-FX.

Well, at first glance, the FX board is smaller, with only 2 PCI slots and 2 memory slots instead of the 3 on the standard. It also appears the the FX doesn't support above 2GHz, whereas the standard goes up to 2.4GHz (and beyond it claims).

The FX has a single IDE Channel vs the 2 channels of the standard.

So all in all, I believe you'd call the FX board the "Micro"?

I still like the standard. I'm jsut trying to track down a dealer in the UK that stocks 512MB/1GB PC2700 DDR.
