Hey everyone my problem seems to be different than everyone else is having and truth be told its getting on my nerves. I recently built a computer with an Asus p8z77 -v Pro, GeForce 660TI, and I7 3770K. Everything works great except the wifi.
I have tried:
- the wifi on the mobo. It runs at 8-15 kb/s on the good days. no more.
- my older wifi card from a different computer plugged into my PCI1_1 slot. This fails to recognize any networks at all, no matter what.
- USB network adapter plugged into the front or back of the computer. Same as the Mobo Wifi running at 8-15 kb/s.
After messing around with slot placement for the PCI card now the mobo wifi only shows 1 bar for the network ( which used to have 70% signal strength ) and fails to connect, only the USB stick will connect to a network.
I have updated my BIOS, my LAN drivers, my WIFI drivers, and have gone partially instane.
IControl is NOT installed, nor is any part of the ASUS suite.
what am i missing.?
