I have the motherboard in title, my problem is the board wont save any bios changes, it wont even save optimised defaults. If i set optimised defaults it will show 3.8ghz then after save the pc will on-off mutiple times before bios shows 4.2xxghz? Ive cleared CMOS by removing and replacing battery, reseated ram, jumper and flashed to newest bios. Whats strange is that before OC this problem was occurring and then during OC it managed to keep my bios settings until recently when it reset again.
In addition there is a constant red light on the mobo just above the memok! feature. Im unsure if its normal for this light to be constantly on, though during that period when oc settings were saved everything seemed fine. Ive also run the memok feature which said everything is fine. At the moment i cant even set x.m.p so my ram is running at 1300mhz instead of 1600mhz which is a real problem.
Ive ordered a new BIOS battery, but do you guys think this is the problem?
