Question ASUS prime z370a vs z390a

I have a 8600k stock rn on a asus prime z370 a and I'm wondering how much better the prime z390 (which I also have(divorced parents)) and I'm wondering if it's worth chaning motherboards between the pcs just to get a bit better vrm temps on 390.
So, how much better vrm temps would I get on 390 vs 370 and can I run a stock 9700k on 370 ON STOCK without having to worry? and can I run a 9900k ON STOCK on either without having to worry? Thanks!

Both the Asus Prime z370 - A (II) and the Asus Prime z390 - A (II) have 8+2 phase VRMs. If the VRMs on your z370 throttles, you won't get much luck with the z390.

I'm not sure how warm exactly the VRMs on my Asus Prime z370 - A II are (motherboard doesn't have VRM temperature sensors), but I have done hours of stress test on Aida 64 with my i7-9700k on a 5.0Ghz, 1.27V with no issues. Can't speak for the 9900k though. An i7-9700k on stock, however, is no problem.

The revised variant just has included DrMOS modules or something. I'm not entirely sure of their purpose (I think it provides more stability for OC), but I highly doubt they help to reduce temperatures. So if my z370 can work, so will yours.
