Hello people. I have a question regarding my new GPU, listed in the title, and my PSU (EVGA 750w B5 plus80 Bronze Fully Modular). The PSU has 2x8 pin, VGA 1 and GA 2, slots and the card requires 3x8 pin.

I am guessing I need to upgrade my PSU for this to work, even though I went on several compatibility websites and the only thing mentioned was to not daisy chain the connectors to the GPU. Not sure if I can use one of the slots labeled CPU 1 and CPU 2. IF it were able to do both cpu and gpu it would be labeled as such ie: CPU/PCIe correct?

Bit of a dilemma and oversite on my part. But, any recommendations are welcome on how to connect these two or should I upgrade. I never changed out a PSU before either.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

my PSU (EVGA 750w B5 plus80 Bronze Fully Modular).
How old is the PSU and what did it power through out it's tenure in your build?
It only 2 years old and I currently have an EVGA RTX 3070 FTW 3 Ultra Gaming GPU, an Intil 15 12600k, Corsair Crystal ICUe H100i Elite Capellix Liquid Cooler, Samsung nvme ssd 2tb, 32gb Corsair Vengeance 3600 ram and multiple peripherals for gaming (hotas set up for DCS World)

MSI recommends a minimum 850W PSU for any system with a CPU above 65W TDP in combo with an RTX4080. Your 12600K is definitely more than 65W.

You will need a power cable with 12VHPWR connector (16-pin) which is provided on ATX 3.0 spec PSUs. Alternately use 3x 8-pin PCIe power connectors into the 12HPWR adapter that come with the graphics card.
