Asus Rampage V Extreme vs ROG x99 Strix gaming

So I have narrowed my motherboard decision down to these 2 choices.

-ASUS X99 Rampage Extreme/U3.1 LGA 2011-V3 eATX Intel Motherboard

-ASUS ROG X99 Strix Gaming LGA 2011 Intel ATX Motherboard with USB 3.1 Type-C

Because of a promotion I got these boards are around the same price, only $30 difference. So therefore I was hoping for some advice on which motherboard is the best choice based on quality alone. The Rampage is older by a 1-2 years but it is a higher end moba. Thank you very much!

Both are great mobos, would take a close look and see if one or the other offer something you want/need that the other doesn't have and that could be your select criteria, otherwise should be well pleased with either 😉
