Hey,

I was planning to get the Maximus Hero Vii but the shop near me doesnt have those, instead it has the rampage vi extreme so I would like to know which one is better?

Also:

Asus Maximus Hero IIV
i7 4790k
Corsair H100i Cooling System
Gtx Geforce 780 ti 3GB

Asus Rampage Extreme VI
i7 4930k
Corsair H80i Cooling System
Gtx Geforce 780ti 3GB

I would also like to know if the rampage can run bf4 in ultra settings?

Solution
The Rampage IV series motherboards are based on the LGA-2011-1 platform (not to be confused with the soon to be released LGA-2011-3 platform) which is used for Intel's higher end microprocessors. If you have the extra money to spend on a 6 core microprocessor, go for it. However, a Corsair H80 will not cut it, certainly not if you intend on exploiting the Rampage IV Extreme's insane overclocking ability.
