Hi everyone.

I'm looking for the RGB pros here. I recently began with a very basic setup so I can begin learning about it all and am bewildered at how complicated it is. So, can someone tell me how they would set up their RGB devices given the following setup?

Asus ROG Strix B650E-F
Cooler Master MF200R

I have uninstalled Armoury Crate and am using SignalRGB. Currently, I have an issue where SignalRGB shows RAM that I do not have installed. Also, I cannot get any software to recognize my Cooler Master fan. It simply runs as an extension of the motherboard. So technically it works, but I do not have any control over individual LEDs.

I wish I could provide more information, but I don't even know what you guys and gals might need to know.

Thanks everyone!

Oh, and I've been a fan of TH for yeaaaaars so I don't know why it took me this long to join.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Our of curiosity, which header did you populate on the motherboard with the fan? How many fans are you working with? Also, for the sake of relevance, what BIOS version are you on at this moment of time?

Thanks dude. Long time nerd, first time caller lol

There is a total of 6 case fans but only one of them is RGB. I have it plugged into the Aura RGB header. When I plugged it into one of the 3 addressable gen2 headers, which is what I thought it was supposed to be, the fan would glow static light blue and that was it. No software would detect it either. BIOS version is 0809.

You seem to have one more BIOS version pending update.

As for the RGB fan, disconnect it at first. Once you've flashed the BIOS to the latest version, clear the CMOS(disconnect from the wall and display, remove CMOS battery for 30 minutes) and then power up the system. Once you've verified that the BIOS is flashed to the latest, power down, connect the fan to the RGB_HEADER(not the addressable headers), taking note of the arrow only going on the 12v pin per the manual, page 1-15, section 12.

Try and install Coolermaster's app;
and see if that brings about any change.
