I'm setting up an Asus RT-AC88U Router. I have set up 2.4Hz and 5Hz. Only my 2.4Hz shows up. Is this a hardware issue or software? My provider is AT%T. For the past 3 years, I have been connecting to the AT&T router to my RT-AC88U by ethernet cable. For various reasons, I'm trying to switch to Wi-Fi. I did a factory reset on my RT-AC88U. I then set up the 2.4Hz & 5Hz. My main concern is the absence of the display for 5Hz.

Ok, the Rampage V Extreme does include onboard 802.11ac (supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz), that's what I was trying to clarify.

Have you installed the latest Wifi driver for the board? Version 6.34.223.5

It may also be a distance thing. 5GHz doesn't travel as well through obstructions (walls, ceilings etc).
If you're in a typical residential environment (1-3 storey, <2500 SqFt), you should be able to see the 5GHz option at the very least.

The adapter, not the router.

What is the full information of the device you're trying to connect to the Wifi?
You've only specified the Operating System (Windows 10)... Not the hardware.

Is it a laptop? If so, what model?
Is it a desktop? If so, what motherboard or Wifi adapter?
