Asus Sabertooth Z97 Mark S

Hello all, I was wondering if the Asus Sabertooth Z97 Mark S was worth the purchase? im going for a white system and it seems to fit well but was looking for some honest opinions, Thanks

The sabertooth is a fantastic board if you can afford it, it has great server grade components and comes with a hell of a warranty, and i believe its one of the only motherboards with a white pcb.

That depends on what your looking for, in terms of performance it will probably be exactly the same. The sabertooth will have more features, will last longer, probably overclock slightly better. Its a huge upgrade in terms of the quality of the components used in the motherboard but it wont help performance much if at all.

That much I completely get, but in terms of how long i've had my D3HP for a very long time so overall it will be a huge upgrade for what i need

BTW here is something that i dont see ppl mentioning about the Sabertooh IM not sure about the Z97 sabertooth but if it is the same as the z77

than the Power delivery is the same one u will find in the ROG motherboards

exception being u dont get a nice soundcard but instead a 5 year warranty and and other cool futures i really like the assist fans

i moded my z77 to fit noctua 40mm fans they run super quite and my motherboard runs super cool

My system as it stands only needs a mobo upgrade i have a decent set-up other than the mobo, the reason for this specific one is its decent but the color really fits what i like
