Asus Strix Z370E and NVMe 960 Evo

So I have these two components and I dont know how to set them up.

1) The M.2_1 socket shares SATA_1 port when use M.2 SATA mode device. Adjust BIOS settings to use a SATA device.
2)The M.2_2 socket shares SATA_56 ports when use M.2 PCIE mode device in X4 mode. Adjust BIOS settings to use SATA devices.

If I install it in the slot above the gpu how do I set those bios settings?

I have a HDD, SSD, and the m.2. Nothing else. Does it even matter in which slot I put it in? Are speeds different?

Other then port 5 and 6 are disabled because you have a pcie m.2 on the m.2_2 socket. The rest work the same

m2_1 is the one above the gpu? m2_2 is one under the shield? Should I install it under the shield because of the cooling?

Well then I wont put anything in Sata 5 and Sata 6 connector. Ill use the others and all should be good?
