this ASUS TUF GAMING B650-E WIFI MB would not get past the DRAM yellow error out of the box when i tried to use 2 sticks of compatible RAM. i had to use one stick in slot B2 to get it to the boot. i reset and updated the BIOS, but it stick won't get past that DRAM error with 2, 3, or 4 sticks of RAM.

might this be a tweak in the BIOS regarding the RAM?

thanks!!

when i tried to use 2 sticks of compatible RAM.
We're flying blind here, please mention the ram kit you're trying to work with or a link to the ram kit. Ideally rams should be in slots A2 and B2.

Since you're able to get POST with one stick of ram, what BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

i reset and updated the BIOS
Did you clear the CMOS after verifying your BIOS was flashed to the latest version(per your accounts)?

Hello and THANKS!! yes, you are correct for A2 & B2. it only recognizes the one RAM stick in B2

Vengeance DDR532GB(2X16GB) 6000MT/s 36-44-44-96 1.35v ver 3.43.04

i'm on BIOS ver 3067. i pulled the CMOS battery after the BIOS upgrade.

Are you talking about ram sticks guaranteed by the manufacturer to be compatible with each other and sold as a set of 4?
the client began putting this together and bought it to us with this inability to boot to the disc or get display. he bought 2 Vengeance DDR532GB(2X16GB) 6000MT/s 36-44-44-96 1.35v ver 3.43.04

i also tried some 16GB Kingston Fury Beast we had, but same result.
