Have swapped ethernet cables?
Does the ethernet adapter show up in the device manager?
If your adapter doesn't show up in device manager, then you need to boot a portable linux to determine if you have a hardware or software problem. If it works in linux the a software problem, if not hardware problem.I installed the drivers right after OS install.
No I have no swapped
And no it does not.

Could still be a cable problem since you haven't swapped in a new one.Hello agin, I checked in Mint and I only get WiFi there as well.
Check BIOS settings may have to enable in BIOS!
I am currently fearing "DoA" mobo. I built the PC yesterday. Cable was fine on my old motherboard. I switched from Intel to AMDCould still be a cable problem since you haven't swapped in a new one.
What change was made that made it not work? BIOS update? Windows update? Power hit/thunderstorm?
Are there unknown devices in the device manager?First thing I checked.
