Question Asus TUF RTX 3070 ti Vs RTX 3080 ti Founder's Edition

Upgrade Suggestion!!!
I currently have an Asus TUF RTX 3070 ti, but got a good deal on RTX 3080 ti FE(used), I see that the TUF 3070 ti is clocked higher than the 3080 ti FE. Does this mean the TUF 3070 ti will perform better than the 3080 ti FE? Need help regarding this. Thanks

It's ok to compare clocks with the same tier of gpu, but the 3080Ti has more memory bandwidth and shaders. It's in a whole other ballpark from a 3070Ti.
That said, it does require a more robust power supply, so if you don't have that covered already, you'll end up dipping twice: buying the gpu, and buying a new psu.

I have a Thermaltake GF A3 850 Watt Gold certified PSU, granted 850 watt is borderline but I hope it will do.
