Wow, lots of hate for the marketing hype over military grade specs.

So yeah, as a z77 Sabertooth owner, I did not buy it on the Military Grade Marketing rubbish, I bought it because it goes like the clappers, and I can OC the crap out of it until breaking point, and still have a 5 year warranty on it!

And boy do I abuse it!

well Mid March My Ass it's 3rd April today...where is it?cuz i seriously wanna see how much the price would be different from the normal one which is 170$-180$.

I can't speak for the price in the STates but if I compare the prices from my country they should show the difference just as well.

If I take a look at the largest vendor in Norway, then they are priced as such (only Rev 2.0 and Gen3, rev 2.0 is for sale here):

ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0, Socket-AM3+
at 1.139,- NoK

ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX/GEN3, Socket-AM3+
at 1.499,- NoK

Meaning a 24% difference in price on the two products. This could be a result of the original rev 2.0 decrease in price, but never the less the price difference will be around 24%.

these series of boards are the only i can find with more than 2 usb3.0 and more than 5 sata6gb\s
amd part is laughable? paying 4x as much for the same speed intel cpu is all is see laughable these days. i guess it's like any fanboy club though. they'll all pay more just because they've convinced themselves something is better. haven't run a modern game yet on my fx-8320\radeon7870 that isn't at highest possible settings @ 1080p with good fps.
