Asus VG248 Browser problems 144hz

I just got the monitor and on some video sites the monitor will completely bug out with the only way to fix it is to restart the computer Also sometimes my desktop just starts shaking up and down erratically these aren't a problem while the monitor is in 60hz

I have displayport and uninstalled/reinstalled my amd video drivers.

Any help would be much appreciated i was really excited about this monitor now its just causing me a ton of stress, and i don't know what to do.
I bought it refurbished i wonder if i got a broken unit

Yeah, I had the same problem as you. The trick is to go into your web browser settings and turn off hardware acceleration. This has nothing to do with cables (Or even drivers I think). Hope this helps!
