Hello,
Please clear my few questions. Any Suggestion will be helpful.

I just want to play 5 channel enabled DVD movie, blue-ray rips(MKV) or 5.1 supported games in my 5.1 analog sound system by (3x3.5mm to RCA arrangement)
and want to listen true 5.1 discrete sound. all unique sound from each of 5 channels.

Can ASUS XONAR DG supply stuffs above.

No headphone, No Dolby surround for stereo to 5.1 for headphone, no S/PDIF,
just analog 5.1 surround sound support from 5.1 enabled games or audio track.
Lots of people unable to describe Xonar Dg without headphone there, but what for simple 5.1 surround sound on analog 5.1 sound system.

I don't need EAX
I don’t need Dolby digital live for up-mix stereo to 5.1~7.1 surround effect

But if my player able to play DTS enabled 5.1 audio tracks or games that support 5.1 surround system, can XONAR DG be able to send them to each 5 speakers accurately and uniquely.

Please any guidance will be greatly helpful.
(sorry for my poor English if any)

In regards to Dolby Digital and DTS signals, what will happen is this: You will need to set whatever video viewer you are using [lets say, Windows Media Player] to decode the audio, which will allow the audio to be transmitted over 5.1 analog jacks. All other 5.1 sources will be able to be transmitted over 5.1 analog jacks as normal, provided the soundcard is set to output 6 channels. [You can choose to upmix 2.0/2.1 sources to 5.1, if necessary]

Also, if you are not using the DG's headphone jack, I recommend at least the Xonar DS over the DG.

Ok but, 1st most of DS's facility useless for me. I just want to clear n fine sound. No Audio engineering also few point of SNR variation cant shake me from head ph amp. feature. That is really cute for a cute small card.
DS is not instant available in Kolkata. May be I have to order. DG, DX, D2X is only availabe. Can't use PCI-E cards as my GTX460 blocked my mobo's PCI-E.

I just bring DG tonight from market.
I am spell-bound. Far good in respect of my sound blaster 5.1.
And that head phone amplifier is so cute.
Just ..... can't express in language, highly(200%) satisfied.

Considering how many posts on most forums are problems people are having it's great when someones happy with something they got.

I have a Xonar D1 but I can't use it because I didn't realize this m-atx motherboard I got on the cheap has it's pci slots too close to the pci-e. (Idiot mistake that I won't make again).

I do miss the card though, when I have enough to get a DX I will do.

***, D1 and DX both same just PCI-E and PCI, 1st I target D1 but its not available and cant use DX cause pci-e. Both use great capacitors and nice build quality. I dont use them but if my Xonar DG sound that good, D1 or DX will be more superior. Go for it.
