ASUS Z170-P D3 Bios update problem!

Hi. So i bought a new mobo and i updated bios to newest version.
Now I'm trying to update to previous version but I can't.
I try every possible way to do it and nothing.When I'm trying From bios ez flash message appears "selected file is not proper bios"
Please help.

Have no idea then. If you're on Facebook ask ASUS

Try renaming it, if still problem occurs try order BIOS chip for your board. Install the new chip in its place. Make sure they do not send you an old chip! They make newer/updated BIOS chips.

Yup it looks like some people had to order a new BIOS to fix the prob you're getting.

Dont know why it maybe damaged or something

Just buy another one and put it in the same place. Its removable

i think i try every possible way to downgrade bios using all available software... no joy.

You'll have to buy a replacement BIOS chip

Or since it's new return it. Tell them the BIOS is stuffed. And you cant update it

Get it replaced. This mobo may have a fault. Other people on other sites had probs doing the same thing (saw the same error), with the same mobo

Hi there .So I ordered new chip with BIOS programed and guess what .... its not working
What it does it starts for 2-3 seconds and resets and again and again and again. At this point I would strongly Advise any person who thinking to buy this Motherboard DON'T !!!!!!!
