The lights work, the fans work, just installed my i5-6700k Kaby lake CPU.
But the bios is not showing up, it's not booting and the USB ports aren't working. This is my first time installing a motherboard so I may have done something wrong but I can't figure out what. The manual makes a little sense to me but I still don't quite understand it.
Here is the pics of what I have put together http://m.imgur.com/a/O8koD

The only thing I can do is to try with another PSU. If that doesn't work, the motherboard goes back.

Clearing the CMOS was the only thing that helped in my case. I had to repeat it every time when the Bios has failed. I could operate the board with only one of the RAMs, so I had to return them. My board works fine with the new RAMS.

I was running in to a similar issue. Asus Prime Z270-A with a G4400 CPU and Corsair Vengance LPX 16 GB DIMM on the A2 slot. After reading everything here and getting ready to inspect the pins on the CPU socket I notice that I had not pushed the RAM all the way in. That fixed my problem to these symptoms.

BTW in my case, the NIC only would glow the amber LED, no sound came out and the keyboard lights wouldn't turn on.
