After building a system with the Asus Z97-a, I have bot been able to download the drivers for the Intel gigabit ethernet, and so haven't been able to use ethernet.
Every time I open the driver, it says that "there are no Intel adapters present in this computer"
This is the download from the asus website. I am running windows 10 pre-release, and have tried putting it in comparability mode.
pls help I live several floors above my router and have set up an ethernet cable so a to prevent massive ping/lag
:)

I had the same problem with same setup. I installed the driver in device manager directly from the Asus install disk files and it works! Open device manager find the network adapter (lan) open it and update driver, browse the disk to lan driver and install.
