Question PC crashes & driver timeouts since installing an RX 9070 XT ?

ok so i just got a new card. seems all good, one thing that I noticed: memory temps are a lot lower on the new card. 10 + c lower in fact

If the previous was defective then its normal for temperatures to be lower.

alright, back to regular driver timeouts. No complete shutdowns tho. I guess I will surrender at this point and embrace the amd experience. I hope its going to be fixed by driver optimization at some point in time as it was the case with my old 6700xt

It could be an incompatibility with something else. There is another topic here where having a particular M.2 with the 9070XT causes the system to not even turn on.
Try updating the chipset drivers as a start, if they are not up to date.

I tried to find that thread but was unable to. could you post a link pls?
