Asus z97 Maximus VII Hero vs MSI z97 Gaming 7

Hi guys, im building my own pc for the first time, i have already an intel i7 4790k and a Enthoo luxe case, i will be doing sli of gigabyte 970 gtx but now im not sure of wich board should i pick, where i live the msi one costs 179€ (199$) and the asus 229€ (254$) and offers ac unity. Is the difference in the cost really worth it? does the asus justify the cost? I've read good things on both boards really, but my only concern is people talking about msi low quality issues, like the slot on the gpu feelling like going to break, please give me a honest opinion.

Yep the Hero all the way, I won't build on MSI due to their poor QC, I get more trouble calls on their mobos than any 2 other manufacturers put together

If some of you can give me further help, would you tell me what the mest gpu is for sli? Msi gtx 970 or gigabyte?

Depends on which model of each you are looking at, I like the GB GV-N970G1 GAMING-4GD and their GV-N970WF3OC-4GD. Between the two manufacturers they have about 8-9 models I believe
