Athlon 750's limit

Anyone can say what is a tipical limit of a 750MHz (socket A) Athlon? I'm using an Asus A7V (rev1.02, 1005a BIOS) and looking for a good CPU cooler, but don't know if I can get 1GHz with this configuration...

Just keep upping it using the multiplier until it wont post any more...you might hit 1G...get bios 1005c for stability...search the boards for any info you need.

I'm in the process of purchasing the same config, save for an 850. My Q is whether the overclocking is simply a feature of this mainboard or do I need to do something else to the chip (such as pencil in those L1 traces).
