athlon classic vs. duron

Curious, If a Duron and a Classic Athlon with the same MHZ
goes head to head which one would be faster? With everything else being close to equal (motherboard, graphic cardm etc.)

as i understand it and looking over the benchmarks, they perform right at the same level.

They are jsut about the same speeds. The Duron might be a little bit faster due to archetecture.

Looking at the old benchmark results on THG it is swings and roundabouts, Duron takes it some places, TBird Classic takes it in others...
