Hi Everyone.
So I got a XFX 5770 that I've had for about 3 years now, lately the card has increased operating heat to about 85-90c while just playing Dota2 and it's Idling around 50-60c. I'm looking to upgrade the card or buy another 5770 but I've been out of the GPU scene for a little while. My motherboard only supports PCI 2.0 and I have a OCZ 500w PSU. Oh and I'd like to stay under 150$.

Thanks,
Kevin

GTX 650 is coming out and it's around that price range. You might want to wait for that or wait till HD 7770 goes cheaper which the AMD camp does a lot everything the NVIDIA camp releases a new card

I remember my HD5770, was epic for the price! I'd say you should go for a GTX650 if you can, I find the HD7770 to be one of the most dissapointing cards from this generation, it's only a small upgrade from the 5770 despite being 2 years newer and not much cheaper.

I got a 7770 and I love it. The temps at full in the games I play barely peak 52ish. I got the Asus 7770 2gig for only 160$ from Fry's. I like AMD and on a budget I'll take it. Most of the time the performance differences are only single maybe double digit % anyways.

Thanks guys.
