ATI 9250

Well I needed to upgrade my intergrated 64mb video card. Unfortunately I only have PCI slots. So not wanting to spend too munch money on a ageing computer I decided on this

An ATI 9250 256mb Sapphire PCI. Was it a good choice?
I don't plan to do any hard gaming, just some online rpgs.

9250 is best if you can't stretch to new mobo.

the 9250 is garbage for pci. i think it limits pci. lol. anyway, get a bfg 6200 pci.

Can you post the rest of your system specs?

Its a HP Pavilion 533w
Celeron 2Ghz CPU(that will sson be upgraded to a P4 2.4)
512MB of Ram
60GB 7200rpm Hard Drive

Like I said before I really didn't want to spend too much. I just wanted to have a half way decent PC until I get the my new PC in the next 6 months.

So you're going to buy an obsolete graphics card and a processor that's not a significant upgrade?

Save the money, put up with it for a few months and spend it on the new PC
