ATI Radeon 9700

Having the fastest card does not win u market share I mean think about it why does the ti 4200 outsell the ti 4400 and ti 4600. ATI is reducing the price of the 9700 and releasing the 9500 before u see the nv30 and if priced right they may outsell nvidia in the high end and middle end market even if it is faster than the 9700. Besides look at the monster nv30 expensive components galore 400 mhz ddr 2 multiple chip solution integrated firewire sheesh if the r9700 costs $399 the nv30 maybe the same of even more reducing profit margins for oems. Not to mention ATI has their .13 micron r350 already taped out and ready to hit against the nv30 a few weeks or a month and half after the nv30 releases.

I just remembered the thing about the nv30 doing 1024 instructions per pass was an error as stated by nvidia.

so sue them...wanna sue me too?...stop drenching yourself in gasoline...I am not ATI nor did I say you're an ATI-hater troll...if you can lower down you anger you'd see I am not against you and I am simply stating my opinion and expreinces with this certain card...your anger is engulfing you...

I obviously don't know those facts because I didn't have a problem on my friend's AIW 8500 card...would you stumble on those facts if you had not a problem with your AIW? What you did was see the "Dolby Output" in the AIW card then tried and the card failed then you contacted ATI then they said there is an existing issue on that...but if the AIW did it's job and output Dolby then you wouldn't know any of those facts because you don't need to...that's my case, I didn't have a problem on my AIW card so I didn't have to contact ATI and KNOW about these facts...

no matter what I say as long as you are burning you'd only read this post of mine as full of blah blah blah...

the only help I can offer you and hopefully you'd heed my advice is take your flaming to ATI and they'd prolly give you a refund or a newer card to make up for their false advertisements and claims...ATI should not go unpunished by releasing a card that does not live up to what they said it is...I believe there is a law that states no advertisements should be made until all claims are proven true...ATI claimed they have Dobly output, released the product and now they are taking the Dobly output claim back...

you paid in full and they gave you 3/4...

Hm facts. Well one is what nexus just mentioned. Don't tell me you didn't read that about the nv30 dx9 specs about how it being so superior to radeon9700. the numbers were often at least 2x of that of radeon9700.
I suspected they were bullshit from the start. They did it cause they wanted to stir away the hype from radeon9700 onto the nv30 and forgot the tape out thing as well. Well i don't fall for hype so easily otherwise i would probably be sitting with 30 ps2. Nvidia will keep spreading rumours til the nv30 dates are deffinitely assured
